Nice alternative to paper plates

I bought these to use for a big group for Thanksgiving, so we haven't used them yet. They look a lot nicer than paper plates and are able to go into municipal compost. While I tend to not use disposable items, I liked the idea of these instead of ubiquitous white paper plates, and they appear to be sturdy as well as attractive. I ordered 2 sizes, one for dinner plates and one for dessert.
